298 – An Adventure

You are a cloud that has fallen from the air
But no one saw it fall so it’s still floating there
You’re easy to hide and the hardest piece to find
You park in the dark part of a head that forgets
Because it doesn’t know what else to do with you
You are yesterday’s sun replaced by the moon
The reprieve of a night that is over far too soon
You are a barn packed with needles and haystacks
And an unending tirade of necessary mistakes
But you are always an adventure which is the best bit
Sitting in the back of my mind waiting for me to see it
