236 – Familiar Green Eyes

I try to avoid being overly personalised
Unless for something comfortabl-ised
Like looking into familiar green eyes
That don’t look in an effort to learn
But look because they already know
They look for nowhere to go because
Eyes know they have already arrived
Come to a rolling stop in a person’s life
Taken a little bit by complete surprise
For a moment there the comfort resides
Like it didn’t for a minute go anywhere
As if it was meant that we would coincide
