229 – Little Girls

In a life with nothing wrong
We could all wish for a song
About a genie and one wish
With a simple end to this

Little girls who don’t grow up
Daddy’s who don’t stay enough
Magic could take hurt away
Leave us with no words to say

But little girls they all grow up
In a world that just plays rough
Mother’s cry and father’s lie
And little girls don’t always smile
