221 – To… Musical Theatre Nerds

If you weren’t you you’d be a guy called Jeremy
And you’d smash your way out of reality, you’d
Sing your way onto the screens of TV and there
Would be billboards, and play bills and ticket stubs
Girls wanting to rub themselves all over your voice
Or you’d be a pretty girl named Patty dancing your
Way to glory, with a repertoire as long as your
Arm and you’d be a heart breaking risk taker so
You wouldn’t have learned without a mistake or
Two, but even though you’re you, the big place
That houses the stage is where we can be them
And over and over our dreams can all come true
