160 – Loving Remains

Time isn’t taken back, it’s turned back
And it’s with dreary thoughts like that
Future’s are painted in sleepy tunes
And waking up is to the dusty runes
Of a conversation you couldn’t have
Or sentiments unable to be mapped
So it’s with that we saunter forward
To sightly plagues not yet left ignored
As short as life, it is longer than loving
Hurt as it might it was truer than nothing
For the time it existed in a day on a page
Loving remains when all else has aged
