149 – Secrets

I see a secret as harmful, for if it’s good it shouldn’t hidden
But a secret is in the telling, in whether trust will be written

Even a little secret says “hold my heart for a moment” and
Let us see if we can keep this from getting too out of hand

They are little windows of opportunity to know someone
And to prove that you mean more good than any harm

Secrets are a good tell of the way a person might think
And a foolproof way to find out if a secret is worth telling
