91 – A Heist Between Friends

A heist between friends
Is more than a means
To an ending
It is a team sport where
No one falls short
But somebody is definitely
In it for all the wrong reasons
They’re not dissimilar
Breaking banks and
Breaking hearts
It’s all finely framed art
And like all valuable things
In this advanced age
It’s all out of harm’s way
Waiting for the day
The war is waged
Against gilded locks
On self-defensive cages
A heist between friends
Is the ultimate revenge
It’s the beginning that arrives
On the tail of an end
