77 – Sands Through The Hourglass

Like sands through the bold days
Of our golden hospital tomorrows
Young neighbours are restless
From being there for one another
Sometimes you want to go where
Nobody knows your  name and
Your job’s not a joke, it was a day off
So in-charge Charles and judgment Judy
Hold onto your seats, it’s time to play
Who wants to be the hourglass of our lives

  1. LOL It took me a minute to realize the allusions to TV shows was intentional … I should wake up before I read someone’s posts in the morning. I enjoyed this … and it even made a little more sense the second time through.
